The center stone of this necklace is a real ruby. It is simply polished rather than cut and faceted, and the stone is fairly opaque, although the color isn't bad. The beads are ruby zoisite which is the stone that ruby is generally found in. Earrings have rodolite garnet in them rather than ruby. I matched the color rather than the stone to make the overall effect. Sterling silver accents and findings. Necklace is approximately 25" in length. Earrings are 1.75" long on European lever back ear wires.
