ABOUT ALISON
I have been making jewelry for over 20 years. I first learned seed bead work on my own, then in college I began taking metal smithing classes.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts, I did post graduate work at the Worcester Center for Crafts in Jewelry making. There I studied metal smithing, enameling, cloisonné and stained glass.
My jewelry work today is in a mixture of mediums. I enjoy combining materials to achieve exactly the look I want in the end. Sometimes I mix glass and stones, pearls and glass, copper with silver - pretty much any mix that gets me to the final effect.
Currently I live and work in New Hampshire with my husband Mars. Mars is a Celtic and digital artist.
